Grants will be awarded to programs for people age 50 and older that provide innovative solutions in reducing barriers to aging well in the areas of:

  • attitudes around aging
  • employment
  • volunteering
  • lifelong learning
  • arts and culture
  • information and referral services
  • isolation
  • health and wellbeing
  • housing
  • ways to get from one place to another

Grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations serving people age 50 and older living in York County. Note: Nonprofits can collaborate with for-profit businesses to develop and implement programs designed to reduce barriers. Grant applications demonstrating collaborations between organizations will receive priority consideration. Grant applications are due June 30, 2016.
