York County Community Foundation Grows Finance Department

The York County Community Foundation (YCCF) is pleased to welcome Sharon Vincent as the new Accountant in the Finance department.

Sharon earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and has over 15 years of experience in the accounting field. She brings considerable knowledge and expertise to YCCF, having served as Controller, Accountant, and Senior Accountant at several organizations, including United Cerebral Palsy, PennCares, and Family First Health.

As YCCF’s Accountant, Sharon is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Foundation by ensuring accurate and timely implementation of YCCF’s finances and investments according to the policies and procedures developed by the Board of Directors. Duties include assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transfers, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Sharon will also assist the Controller in the coordination of the annual audit, preparation of financial statements, and investment and cash flow management.
