Natalee Colón Gunderson Named President and CEO of York County Community Foundation

After an extensive national search using one of the preeminent DEI focused search firms, York County Community Foundation (YCCF) is thrilled to announce that Natalee Colón Gunderson will be joining the YCCF team as President & CEO.

Natalee comes to the Foundation after 12 years with The York Water Company, where she most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources. In that role, she built a strong track record of leadership and management at York Water, managing direct reports, critical projects, and focusing on organizational change management.

After an extensive search process, we are thrilled to welcome Natalee Colón Gunderson to the York County Community Foundation as President & CEO,” said Michael Glezer, Second Vice Chair of the YCCF Board of Directors and Chair of the CEO Search Committee. “In addition to her strong leadership and management experience at The York Water Company, Natalee brings a deep understanding of and passion for the York community. Her strategic mindset, coupled with her long-standing connections with York County and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our community, positions her as the ideal leader to take YCCF into this next chapter.”

Natalee’s service to the York community is demonstrated through her tenure on boards such as The United Way of York County, Logos Academy, The Appell Center, The York College Board of Trustees, and The PA Council on the Arts.  She has also played key roles in the important work of YCCF as a member of the Grant Distribution Committee and the Racial Equity Fund Committee.

In addition to the leadership skills Natalee developed in her time at the York Water Company, she holds a bachelor’s degree and M.B.A. from York College of Pennsylvania and is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional.

Beginning on March 1, 2024, Natalee joins an experienced and professional staff at YCCF. As a team, they will lead the organization into a future where York County is a growing, prosperous, and united community with unsurpassed opportunities for everyone to thrive.
