York, PA — York County Community Foundation (YCCF) is pleased to announce that five local nonprofit leaders have been named to the 2017 class of York Federal Fellows. This year’s fellows include Alyson Earl, executive director of the Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education; Deborah Harrison, executive director of the York County Children’s Advocacy Center; Brian Kreeger, president and executive director of Katallasso Inc.; Robert F. Lambert, president of York County Libraries; and Michael Reichman, general manager and chief operating officer of the York Symphony Orchestra.
The York Federal Fellows program of YCCF offers outstanding nonprofit executive leaders the opportunity to spend a year developing professionally and personally while expanding their leadership skills. With a grant of up to $5,000 each, the executives pursue their development and connect with their nonprofit peers during regular workshop sessions throughout the year. The program is supported by the YCCF’s York Federal Foundation Fund and has named 50 fellows previously over the past ten years.
“I felt that this program was necessary to show appreciation for the great work of the nonprofit sector in York County, and to encourage strong leadership at these organizations,” said Bob Pullo, founder of the York Federal Fellows program. “Strong nonprofits help to create a strong York County.”
