York County Agricultural Society Foundation Fund

Formed by local agricultural leaders in 1853, the York County Agricultural Society took over the York Fair that dates back to 1765. This fund will help the Society continue as the promoter of the York Fair, showcasing agricultural achievement with exhibits and livestock competitions held on land purchased by the Society in 1888. The society rents fairgrounds and exhibit buildings to promoters of trade shows, conventions and other events year round, serving as a convention center for York County, Pennsylvania.
