William and Patty Zimmerman Family Fund

A photo of Bill Zimmerman, which hangs in York County Community Foundation’s offices, credits him with “preaching ‘Take Off’ and making it happen” during his leadership as the Community Foundation’s president (1993-1996). The Zimmermans’ continuing interest in the work of the Community Foundation includes this Fund, created by Bill and his wife, Patty, in 1993, to support their many charitable interests throughout the community now and in years to come.
