Wand Family Fund
Established in 1998
The Fund will perpetuate Dick and Sharon Wand’s special interests in the City of York and the well-being and education of its residents. Grants from a portion of the Fund are advised by the Wand family. Another portion of the Fund is designated for scholarships through York City Dollars For Scholars. The Wands lived in York for 15 years before moving to Arizona following Dick’s retirement from P. H. Glatfelter Co. Their children, Brian and Katharine, are graduates of William Penn Senior High School.
