W. L. Cook and Jeannette B. Cook Fund
Established in 2003
A gift to the Community Foundation from the Estate of Jeannette B. Cook established this Fund in honor of her husband, the late W. L. Cook. It will provide for early intervention and support for the educational and developmental needs of children of the working poor in York County. W. L. and Jeannette had a special place in their hearts for children and wanted to provide for them now and for generations to come, so this is a wonderful way to honor that connection. Jeannette was a kindergarten teacher at the Violet Hill School for 21 years.
