The first Acorn Fund established at the Community Foundation, this Fund honors Dr. Sean. C. Campbell, a pediatric physician who saved the life of Joseph and Ann Clark’s son John when he was an infant. “This fund is our family’s modest attempt to honor Sean and his work,” the Clarks said. When the fund matures to at least $10,000, the Clarks will encourage their children to become involved in the grantmaking process.
