Robert Gordon Fund

Robert Gordon has travelled all over the world, but he says there really is no place like home, which is why he created the Robert Gordon Fund to support local organizations. This fund, which benefits the York County Literacy Council, Creative York, and York Town Craft Guild, follows Robert’s appreciation of art and the arts community, although he claims no talent himself. Many in the community know Robert because he opens his home once a year to artists so they can use the large wood kiln in his backyard.

Robert is grateful to his professional advisor, Steve Klunk, for introducing him to the Community Foundation. “YCCF does a great job of stewarding funds,” Robert said, “which makes giving to the Foundation an easy charitable option.”
