Philip A. and Elizabeth J. Hoover Fund
Established in 1997
Dr. Philip Hoover, who practiced general medicine in Dallastown for 52 years, was devoted to his community's health as well as to his patients' health. His legacy includes endowments created in York County Community Foundation during his lifetime and this Fund established after his lifetime (1998) with proceeds of a Charitable Gift Annuity and contributions in his memory from family and friends. The Fund benefits First Presbyterian Church, York County Heritage Trust, York County Community Foundation, and the Philip A. Hoover Medical Library of York Hospital. Dr. Hoover was a Founding Director of York County Community Foundation.
