May D. MacBride Fund
Established in 2003
The May D. MacBride Fund was established by the late Samuel W. MacBride to memorialize his sister, who was a third grade teacher in York. Both Sam and May were graduates of York High, and May was a graduate of Millersville University. May was interested in helping young children and encouraging teachers to pursue continuing education. Their nephew, James MacBride, will serve as an advisor to the Fund.
