Kristin E. Baylor Memorial Fund

Despite her lifelong battle with Crohns disease, Kristin Baylor always had a sunny outlook on life and refused to let the disease define who she was. From a young age, Kristin dreamed of being a pediatric nurse. She returned often to Johns Hopkins to help children who were in the hospital more often than she was. Kristin also adored shopping, movies, and bus trips to New York City to see Broadway shows. She was a graduate of Central York High School and the Consolidated School of Business and worked temporarily for Dentsply. Lydia Stitt, Kristin’s great aunt, created this fund to ensure that Kristin would be remembered forever. The Fund will help ensure that agriculture and farmlands are preserved forever, something that both Lydia and Kristin appreciated. This fund should serve as a reminder to always “look on the brighter side of life,” one of Kristin’s favorite sayings.
