Rhoda and Alan Kingston created the Kingston Family Fund to pass the philanthropic torch to their three grown children, Rebecca, Stephanie, and Lawrence. At yearly family retreats, the siblings and their families decide how to distribute funds and discuss non-financial ways they can aid the groups they support. “The most important thing (about giving) is to give and teach in such a way that it becomes part of your children’s lives,” Stephanie says.
