Jane and Harrison Davis Fund

Jane and Harrison Davis established this fund at the Community Foundation to create their legacy through the power of endowment. Harrison passed away before the fund was finalized, but as an accountant, he was impressed with the Community Foundation’s investment management strategy and knew it was the right organization to steward their legacy. Jane is also pleased with the Community Foundation’s reputation and appreciates that she can create her legacy in any manner she chooses. Jane’s love of animals led the couple to designate half of the fund to the SPCA of York County, an organization Jane has supported through several years of board service. Jane and Harrison’s love of learning through worldwide travels led them to designate the second half of the fund to the two educational institutions that helped shape Harrison’s learning experiences: the Corning Community College Development Foundation and the State University College at Brockport Foundation, Inc. Jane is confident that no matter what may happen in any given year, her fund will be there in perpetuity, forever supporting the organizations that mean the most to her and the memory of her husband.
