Inspiring H.O.P.E. Playground Endowment Fund
Established in 2011
Members of the nonprofit Inspiring H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Play Equally) worked hard to create the barrier-free playground at Cousler Park in Manchester Township, which opened in 2012 to serve the nearly 5,000 elementary and middle school-aged children from York County who have sensory, physical, or mental disabilities and needed a safe place to play. The playground incorporates ramps, a rubber playground surface, therapeutic swings and many other fun things for kids and their families. This endowment at the Community Foundation will provide for upkeep of the playground forever.
