Hester Hemminger Scholarship Fund
Established in 2005
This Fund was established by James and Hester Hemminger to provide lasting scholarships through Southern York County School District Foundation. Mrs. Hemminger enjoyed a long and successful career as a teacher in Southern York County School District. Upon her retirement, she began offering a sizeable annual scholarship (approximately $8,000) to a graduating Susquehannock High School senior pursuing home economics or teaching.
