Herbert S. & Louella B. Dallmeyer Fund

The Dallmeyers planned to make a charitable bequest to their community. Their family and financial advisors suggested they consider creating a charitable fund now so that they could enjoy seeing their philanthropy at work – and save taxes. They agreed and created this Fund for scholarships. A portion of the Fund benefits students pursuing higher education who share Mr. Dallmeyer’s interest in protecting the environment, particularly improving water quality. Another portion benefits students attending St. John Lutheran Church School, which Mr. Dallmeyer attended. Mr. Dallmeyer, whose family traces their York County roots back to 1862, was formerly co-owner of DALLCO Industries.
