Helen Pfaltzgraff Appell Fund

The Fund was established by Mrs. Appell’s son, Louis J. Appell, Jr., to benefit York City Dollars For Scholars and honor the memory of his mother, who was a 1918 honor graduate of York High School. In establishing the Fund, Mr. Appell said, “Making this gift gives me the twin satisfactions of helping a wonderful cause and honoring a person who has meant so much to me.”
