H. Fred Fickes Fund
Established in 2002
The Fund, established with a gift from the estate of H. Fred Fickes, benefits United Way of York County. Mr. Fickes was a lifelong resident of York and for many years a trust executive with First National Bank. He was elected to the Board of Directors of York County Community Foundation in 1969 and served as Treasurer beginning in 1970. His wife, who predeceased him, was Elizabeth Wiest Fickes.
