Baskets of York Endowment Fund
Established in 2008
This Fund was created by the Garden Club of York to expand on York’s hanging basket program, one of the most visible and successful downtown beautification initiatives in recent years. The hanging basket program began in 1998 as a partnership between The Garden Club and the City of York. The Club’s goal is to build the endowment to ultimately support in perpetuity the care of at least 100 hanging baskets throughout downtown York.
