More York County Trucks Needed For Hurricane Relief! Seeking $25,000 To Transport Donated Emergency Supplies To Victims

York County Community Foundation (YCCF) and Bailey Coach, Inc. have partnered to raise funds to transport emergency supplies donated by generous York and Lancaster residents. Bailey has been collecting supplies all week and has already filled four trucks scheduled to leave Friday for Texas. These trucks were donated by area trucking companies including Frock Brothers, A & S Kinard and S & H Trucking.

John Bailey, President of Baily Coach, Inc. and York County Community Foundation Board member, contacted YCCF to report that, thanks to an outpouring of support, Bailey has another six truckloads of supplies to transport to hurricane victims but no trucks. He asked for YCCF’s assistance to raise funds to pay the costs of transporting these supplies to where they are needed.

York County Community Foundation has stepped up and will contribute $4000 toward the effort and has established the Emergency Relief Fund to accept charitable financial contributions to pay for the costs to transport supplies to hurricane victims. Tax-deductible contributions can be made by going to http://www.yccf.org/donate. Donors can designate their gift to the Emergency Relief Fund. All donations will go towards 2017 hurricane relief efforts.
