Human Resources Professional Joins YCCF Board of Directors
York, PA — Suzanne McConkey, SPHR has joined the York County Community Foundation (YCCF) board of directors to continue the organization’s commitment to strategic thinking, vision, and the future of York County.
McConkey serves as the Vice President Human Resources for Glatfelter Insurance Group and has over 20 years of human resources experience. She also served as the interim Executive Director at The York County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Children’s Advocacy Center, Historic York and the Strand, giving her valuable nonprofit leadership experience. McConkey previously served on YorkCounts, providing her with an understanding of the challenges facing York County.
“Suzanne’s experience in assisting nonprofit organizations through strategic planning, and her past involvement with YCCF’s YorkCounts initiative allow her to bring a unique perspective to the work of the York County Community Foundation board,” said Jeff Lobach, YCCF Board Chair.
She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and holds a Master of Public Administration from Penn State University. McConkey received her undergraduate degree in social studies from Bemidji State University.
