Local Nonprofits To Be Recognized For Community Efforts

Local Nonprofits To Be Recognized For Community Efforts

York County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that several York County charitable organizations and their leaders are among the 35 finalists of the 2015 Nonprofit Innovation Awards program. Winners will be selected at an awards breakfast on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 7:30 – 10 a.m. at the Hilton Harrisburg. The Nonprofit Innovation Awards recognize central Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations and their leaders for developing creative ways to help the region’s citizens with limited resources.

During the program, the winning organization in each category will be revealed and they will receive a check to continue their good work in our community, thanks to a grant supported in part by York County Community Foundation.

The 2015 Nonprofit Innovation Awards are made possible by a partnership of the Central Penn Business Journal, York County Community Foundation, the Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC), and the Lancaster County Community Foundation. The presenting sponsor of the program is Highmark Blue Shield. Other program sponsors include: Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz; Metro Bank; Philadelphia Insurance Companies; Temple University Harrisburg; Comcast Business; and Harsco Corporation.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event, where they can congratulate and network with the honorees. Seats and tables can be reserved online at www.CPBJ.com/events. Please contact Jami Marsicano with the Central Penn Business Journal at 717-236-4300 or jamim@cpbj.com with any questions.
