Community Development Veteran Warfield Joins YCCF Board of Directors

To further support their mission of creating a vibrant York County, the York County Community Foundation (YCCF) has appointed Timothy Warfield to the organization’s board of directors. Warfield brings more than 50 years of community development experience to the role.

Throughout his career, Warfield has directed, developed, and provided expertise to programs that reform lives, strengthen families, and stabilize neighborhoods. These programs have impacted communities on local, statewide, and national levels. He currently serves as an associate for Cornerstone Ventures LLC, assisting clients as they develop and invest in social enterprises.
“We are excited to have Tim join our organization and appreciate having his background in community, workforce, and economic development as part of our board. We look forward to having his voice at the table to guide the Community Foundation’s work into the future,” said William R. Hartman, chair of the YCCF Board of Directors.
“It is my privilege to give back to the community by serving on the YCCF board of directors,” said Warfield. “I believe the Foundation is a gateway, leading to a positive direction for the communities of York County. It is the responsibility of each of us to help our communities grow.”
Warfield serves as the vice chair for the board of the Pennsylvania Community Development & Finance Corporation, as treasurer of the board of directors of the Community Initiatives Development Corporation of Lakewood, Florida, and is on the economic development committee of Downtown, Inc. He is a graduate of Valparaiso University and the Rockefeller Institute of Government of the State University of New York. He resides in York.
