York County Community Foundation (YCCF) has added three new community members to the board of directors to continue the organization’s commitment to connecting with a broader audience to strategically think about our growth and impact on the future of York County. At a board meeting prior to the organization’s 2019 Annual Meeting on May 16, the following three people were voted on to the board.
Kyle Jones
Kyle is the co-head of the Portfolio Strategies Group (PSG) at PFM. Kyle works primarily with businesses by helping to devise customized portfolio strategies designed to meet their specific investment needs. Prior to joining PFM, Kyle spent 10 years at JPMorgan Chase in a variety of capacities, most recently as an investment specialist for their Institutional Sales business. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and educational seminars.
Kyle is active with his respective alumni associations, holds leadership positions with several community related organizations including the York County Black Golfers Association and The Beta Pi Boule of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity and serves on the board of the Appell Center for the Performing Arts.
Harold N. Myers, Jr.
Harold joined Harley Davidson Motor Company in 2006, and currently serves as Senior HR Generalist. Previously he served in a variety of roles at Osram Sylvania.
Currently, Harold is President of the York County Black Golfers Association a non-profit group whose mission is to serve the youth of the greater Central Pennsylvania Area through mentorship. Harold also serves as a Commissioner on the City of York Human Relations Commission and is on the board of Directors of Creating Opportunities in Neighborhood Environments, Inc. and Creating Affordable Housing, Inc.
Sarah King Reinecker
Sarah owns and operates Reinecker Real Estate (RRE) with her husband, Scott. RRE holdings primarily focus on York College student housing. In a volunteer capacity, Sarah is a past President of the YWCA of York, a graduate of Leadership York, coached youth soccer for four years, and is a past board member of York Suburban Communities That Care, Suburban York Basketball Club, and York Suburban All Sports Booster Club. She currently serves as the immediate past President and founding board member of the York Suburban Education Foundation.
Additionally, during the Annual Meeting, YCCF recognized four retiring board members for their service – Bruce Bartels, Elizabeth Carson, Joseph Clark II, Esq., and Scott Rogers.
“The Community Foundation’s solid reputation allows our organization to attract keen strategic thinkers like the retiring board members we honor today,” said Jeff Lobach, Esq., YCCF Board Chair. “Their time and talents have helped YCCF translate generosity into powerful impact on people and we thank them for their service to our community.”
YCCF’s 2019 Annual Meeting keynote speaker, Ursula Wright of FSG, shared a special message about how the York community can work together to achieve progress on complex, large-scale social issues using the collective impact model.
“YCCF knows the importance of community leaders and organizations coming together to make change. But there is always something new to learn about how we work together,” said Jane M. Conover, President and CEO of YCCF. “It is my hope that Ursula’s presentation will inspire those working to solve the biggest challenges in York to come together to accelerate their impact in our community.”
