Tom Foust Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2011
Tom Foust Memorial Scholarship Fund A product of the York City Schools, Tom Foust graduated from William Penn in 1964. After college, he returned to York, where he and his wife, Sharon, lived throughout their married life. Tom's dedication to public schools is legendary, as he served 11 years on the York City School Board and was a founding board member of York City Dollars for Scholars (YCDFS). When Tom passed away in June 2010, Sharon made a generous contribution at Tom's request to YCDFS. YCDFS then established the Tom Foust Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Foundation. This scholarship fund will continue Tom's legacy of helping students of York far into the future.
