Hahn Home Fund for Embracing Aging
Established in 2007

In 1913, Anna L. Gardner bequeathed her estate to create the Hahn Home, a place where older women, who no longer had the means to support themselves, could live out their years in dignity. In 2003 the Board of Directors of the Hahn Home, while continuing with this mission, expanded on Anna Gardner’s legacy and vision. Assets of $7.5 million were transferred to York County Community Foundation to create the Hahn Home Fund for Women to benefit elderly women in York County, now called the Hahn Home Fund for Embracing Aging that supports programs that serve people age 50 and up.
