Kindness Co-Tails Fund

The Kindness Co-Tails Fund was created by Kevin Smith to encourage acts of kindness. When Kevin couldn’t find his wallet after a trip to Weis Markets, he panicked. Moments later, when a good Samaritan turned up at his front door with his wallet in her hand, he wanted to find a way to thank her for her act of kindness. The return of his wallet spurred Kevin to create a fund that would encourage acts of kindness in our community.

 

When Kevin Smith met with YCCF’s Vice President of Development, he learned how a fund could perpetually support his vision for a kinder world. By creating the Kindness Co-Tails fund at the York County Community Foundation, Kevin Smith is providing the community with an opportunity to endow each small act of kindness. Grants will be offered to organizations and individuals that demonstrate kindness and compassion.
