Revitalizing Downtowns & Neighborhoods

The excitement surrounding the rebirth of downtown York is palpable. We are swept up in the construction, ribbon-cuttings, and grand openings. We’re enjoying shopping in new stores and boutiques and dining at fresh new restaurants. Modern, comfortable, accessible and affordable housing is snapped up the minute it’s available.

Downtown York is YCCF’s home, and we’re invested in its success. We’ve used our resources to research, plan and invest in maintaining the momentum and expanding the energy to other city neighborhoods.

And YCCF knows there are other vibrant downtown communities throughout York County, from Dover to Dillsburg, New Freedom to Wrightsville. Imagine sitting in the shade in the newly renovated park in downtown New Freedom, enjoying a stroll through the revitalized Riverfront Park in Wrightsville, or taking in a community program at the Arts Center in Dillsburg. YCCF has awarded grants to support many downtown revitalization projects throughout the county from the Fund for York County.

The places we call home. That’s what a vibrant York County is all about.
