York County Community Foundation inducted two new members into its Professional Advisor Recognition Society at its recent event at the Yorktowne Hotel. Induction into the Professional Advisor Recognition Society allows the Community Foundation to recognize and thank local attorneys, accountants, financial planners, and wealth advisors for their efforts in promoting charitable giving with their clients through endowment with the Community Foundation. This year’s inductees are Robert A. Bowen, First Vice President – Investment Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC; and Henry B. Leader (posthumously), a former attorney and one of the founding members of Stock and Leader.

Mr. Bowen and Mr. Leader join sixteen local professional advisors who have been inducted into the Professional Advisor Recognition Society since its inception in 2012.
The induction was coupled with an event specifically for professional advisors featuring guest speaker Kathryn Miree of Kathryn Miree and Associates. Ms. Miree is a nationally recognized planned giving specialist who spoke to the audience about charitable planning ideas for today’s tax environment.
