York County Community Foundation Awards Fellowships To Community Leaders

York County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the 2014 York Federal Fellows, four nonprofit community leaders who will receive fellowships of $5,000 each to complete professional and personal leadership development in the upcoming year.

The York Federal Foundation Fund of the Community Foundation launched the York Federal Fellows Program in Nonprofit Community Leadership and selected its first class of Fellows in 2006. This initiative allows leaders in the community to break new ground, learn new skills, and experiment with new approaches for leadership and professional development through a completely personalized and self-directed year-long program.

In addition to the self-directed experience, Fellows will commit to a retreat and developmental meetings throughout their Fellowship year. Previous Fellows will provide mentorship and guidance, both individually and as a group, as the 2014 Fellows make their way through their yearlong commitment.
