York Suburban Education Foundation Endowment Fund

Established in 2011

The York Suburban Education Foundation is serious about supporting the highest quality education it can for students in the York Suburban School District. That’s why the Foundation created the York Suburban Education Foundation Endowment Fund to help support innovative programs that enhance the educational experience and foster continued academic excellence for the district students. “This Fund will help to sustain the academic excellence of the York Suburban School District by encouraging and supporting creative and innovative ideas put forth by staff and students,” says Debbie Simon, Treasurer of York Suburban Education Foundation. York Suburban has joined other area school districts in endowing their education foundations. Northeastern School District’s The Bobcat Foundation Fund, created in 2009 at the Community Foundation, funds academic, athletic, and cultural needs that benefit countless students of the Northeastern School District. The Spring Grove Area Educational Fund strengthens the educational program for today’s students. The Fund was established in 2007 at the Community Foundation to create an avenue of continued support for District programs, initiatives and facility enhancements that, while worthwhile, may go beyond the basic educational budget.
