York Suburban Dollars For Scholars Endowment Fund
Established in 2001
A group of volunteers including educators, alumni parents, and community friends came together in 1998 to organize the York Suburban Dollars For Scholars chapter to help York Suburban students further their education. Since then, the chapter has raised $275,000 for scholarships based on financial need and academic potential. The chapter’s long-term goal is to build this endowment, created in 2001, with lifetime gifts as well as bequests.
