St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church Endowment - Flex Fund

Established in 2012

St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church traces its Spring Grove roots back to 1878, when Rev Daniel Hauer called together the Lutherans of Spring Forge to begin the process of establishing a new congregation and building a new church. The congregation was officially charted in 1880. One hundred and thirty-four years later, the Church established this endowment fund as a way to endow permanently its legacy gifts through the respected investment strategies of the Community Foundation while maintaining flexibility for future generations. The Flex Fund is a non-permanent endowment that provides St. Paul’s with the opportunity to request distributions beyond their annual grant amount.
