Mary Lou Frick Fund for York County

Mary Lou Frick is from York, but lived in New York City for years. Her life recently changed when she headed back to York to live right in the heart of downtown. She can’t wait to get involved in the activities that are happening here. She and her family have been contributors to the Community Foundation for many years and she wholeheartedly supports the Community Foundation’s downtown revitalization efforts. She recognizes that revitalizing downtown York is critical to the future success of not only the City of York but also the County of York. Mary Lou was excited to create this fund by taking advantage of the IRA charitable rollover extension. It was the perfect vehicle for her charitable giving and she hopes it will still exist in the future so others can take advantage of it.
