J. Robert Menchey Music Education Endowment Fund

This donor advised fund was established in honor of J. Robert Menchey, who passed away in September, 2007. He turned his passion for music into a successful business that touched many people in the community. He was a pioneer in the band instrument rental program, knowing that many parents could not afford an instrument that might be played only a handful of times. “He always said we’re in the business of selling happiness,” said his grandson, Joel Menchey, who now runs the family business.
