Betsy Keefer Community Fund

As past director of Penn Laurel Girl Scout Council, consultant to Girl Scouts of America, and community volunteer for many York County organizations, Betsy Keefer has spent much of her life helping young women become leaders through the development of courage, confidence, and character. She created the Betsy Keefer Community Fund to support the organizations that she cares about most deeply. Betsy trusts the Community Foundation's ability to manage her fund in perpetuity and continue to support the community in her name after her lifetime. "I am very fortunate to be able to do this and I'm very excited to be able to give back," says Betsy.
