Albert S. Weyer Community Health Fund

Established in 2004

In 1906, Albert S. Weyer set up a trust valued at approximately $80,000 to remain invested for 100 years and then used to serve the poor of York. A court decision terminated the trust early and endowed this Fund at the Community Foundation with just over $3 million. The Fund benefits the York City Bureau of Health and grantmaking to meet basic human service needs of low income City of York residents.
