Honor Your Loved One, Forever

For the family and friends of Pat Eisenhauer, a designated fund at the Community Foundation was just the right avenue to honor both her memory and her lifelong love of York Little Theatre (YLT). “My mother had a passion for music and the theater,” said her son Shaun Eisenhauer. “My earliest memories include her singing in our home as well as on stage during Bert Smith’s productions. Although her voice has been silenced, we wanted to help the YLT endure.”

Honoring a loved one through philanthropy means different things to different people. Some people will honor a loved one after their passing as a memorial to their lives; others will honor a family member upon a special occasion such as a milestone birthday or anniversary; and others might honor a friend for a wonderful achievement. However it’s done, a named fund at the Community Foundation means that a loved one’s name and passion will live in perpetuity.
