York County Community Foundation offers support for the academic success of York County students through scholarships in the following ways.
York County Dollars for Scholars The Community Foundation partners with thirteen dollars for scholars chapters/school district scholarship organizations in the County. Application for these scholarships is made directly through the scholarship organization affiliated with the high school the applicant attends. Learn more Field of Study Scholarships Through the Community Foundation, some donors have established funds that are related to a specific field of study or to benefit a specific institution for scholarship or educational support. If a student would like to be considered for these scholarships, they should either download and complete the attached application or contact the person listed below for an application. The Community Foundation serves as the partner in the selection and distribution of these scholarships. Tom Adams, Jo Hunger, George Lamotte Dental Scholarship:
Designated for dental school and dental hygienist students from York County attending Pitt, Penn, Maryland, Temple or HACC. Details on scholarship requirements and application are available at the following link. Deadline for applications is April 1st.
Robert R. Anderson Family Scholarship: Designated for undergraduate students pursuing studies related to agriculture with a home address of record in York County, Pennsylvania. Details on scholarship requirements and application are available at the following link. Deadline for applications is April 1st.
